I endorsed the function with my rather late intervention, and splendid it was too. The idea of doing it acousticly was well meant, but ill-conceived as a small bar full of hardcore weekend topers were succesful in shouting their opinions at each other at higher volume than Mikey can ullulate.

Having said that, they did applaud wildly, and the particpation in the grand finale of Hartigan's was as enthusiastic as I've heard from the rythmically challenged.
