well worth buying the VHS video of the movie, even though the technicolor is all going pink, just for the music. I also have a couple of the lp soundtracks that I cherish. A sappy movie in many ways. There is Tuesday Weld as Danny's daughter as a teenager, her first movie I think, some actual 30s & 40s musicians playing cameos of themselves, but mostly GREAT music, Louis in his prime. 1958? I think? I used to dig it out and play this duet or trio on a jazz show I used to do when I was signing off and always got calls & requests about it.
