Thank you so much. You folks are the Salt of the Earth.

SRS, yes, I'd just read that, too, at teh preeclampsia foundation website. It was magnesium somethingorother, sulfate, if I remember corrrectly. I'll go back ad check. Thanks for the reminder.

Rue sounds really calm and good. Her BP is down, for now, with an IV and lying on her left side. She has a fetal monitor and a button that she has to push each time she feels the baby move. They are doing an echo/sonogram? this afternoon and a 24 hr urine test, so she'll be there a day or two at least. More, of course, if a birth ebcome imminent.

Funny thing, this past week she really got in gear, washing up all of the new things she got at her baby shower, "nesting"...she said she felt as though she was "ready."

I'll just be relieved and so happy when they have both come through it okay. She is my last child and I came very close to deathhaving her, so it's probably more alarming to me than it should be. I know this condition is very treatable and the doc is being cuatious. Your support form "grammy" is really helpful, too!

love and gratitude,

kat
