Eating one's way into a stadium is a novel form of gatecrashing, I'll say that. I can see how it might prove fatal in some cases...concrete and other building materials lie heavy on the stomach.

Now, drinking one's way into a stadium...THAT's a concept most headbangers could definitely relate to!

It's the pits opening for a famous band, because their audience is not there to see you, and is likely to let you know it in very obvious ways. This gets more perilous, the more violent the style of music. There's no real danger in opening for a famous folkie, for instance. Well, not usually... :-)
