I'll go along with that, John! :-) Looks like even Clinton Hammond and I are on the same wavelength when it comes to telemarketers, the lowest form of life to be found on this planet aside from serial killers, chimp impersonators, and father-rapers (to quote Arlo Guthrie).

I don't have any of this silly extra things on my phone either, except for a message-recording feature. It weeds out virtually all the telemarketers, and I seldom answer the phone in person at all anymore, because 95% of the calls I get are from telemarketers. The other 5% are from people I actually want to talk to, and they all have the sense to leave messages by now.

I am not at the mercy of my telephone any longer. I answer it when I want to answer it.
