John, can't find any button that leads to close at the bottom of my screen (Netscape), but there is a symbol that looks like a plug. It says "You are on line. Click icon to go off line."
I can't find anything on the IE screen that closes or allows going off line.

Joe says everything covered. This happened to me once but some time ago- details not remembered. I used the restart button on my computer to get out of the problem. I never leave any work unsaved if I use another screen so I haven't lost anything except some message that I was typing.
