There is quite a revival of Welsh folk music at the moment. I'd particularly recommend listening to Fernhill for outstanding modern performances of traditional material. Their lead singer, Julie Matthews (Welsh and VERY proud of it) was the cover artist on a recent Folk Roots (essential reading IMO).
