The novelty hasn't worn off, I'm in there at all sorts of silly times and usually find someone to talk to. The trick is to open the room and wait patiently for someone else to come in. So often I have it on in 'the background' whilst working on something else, only to have someone pop in and out again before I've had chance to reply to their greeting.

The best time to be in there is 9.00pm UK time, (about 4.00pmish USA) when the Brits are killing time before bed and the Statesiders are killing time at the end of the working day.
