stuff like peace, energy and Social Security/Medicare are way too important to have simple, sane approaches! Best to tie them up with bills designed by Republican dominated business interests so that no one can make heads or tails of who is deciding what. Much more 'predictable' that way...besides, the pharaceutical companies, with THEIR new bill (they say it's 'medicare'...but..) will soon be making sure we have lots of pills that will calm us down.
