The "George Bush Center for Miltary Intelligence" sign is of course from the previous president's era, and is shown regularly in a mulitpart doco on The CIA: Secret Wars, seen recently here in Australia.

The "Moon" doco was shot by a French team. It was shown here several times in Aus on SBS. Never in April Though... Watch after the credits... if you haven't woken up after watching those shots, you must have some sort of religious type need to believe that the landings were faked... By the time we got to the footage of the CIA agents (negroes) infiltrating Thailand so well that the locals could not tell the difference, I was rolling on the floor... Sad thing, I was prepared to believe that the CIA agents could TRULY BELIEVE the locals couldn't tell, but then I have always loved Capt Flag in MASH...
"Everybody close your eyes - nobody ever sees me leave" .... CRASH!

As any good "leg puller" story teller (and there are quite a good few on Mudcat!) will tell you, building up the chain of believability to get people sucked in is the whole key.

Also, there's a nice shot of what looks like a guy standing in front of the Statue of Liberty, and talking about going up the road to somewhere in France - I do believe the original (part scale) sculptured model by the artist for the US Statue is still on public display somewhere in France. Apparently the Lady was supposed to be erected as a gift to the Suez Canal, but they rejected it - so the US got a recycled monument... :-)
