I borrowed the Caedmon LP of Under Milkwood as read by Dylan Thomas some number of years ago. 1950s, I'd think. Not later than 1961 or so. Hadn't remembered it till this thread. And Polly's song was incredible in its impact, as I recall.

I also recall this, though I can't remember who wrote it:
