Dave, It certainly was "The Railway " at Catford, by the bridge, just aways from the dog track. It was there I met Dave Watts, Robin and Stephen Gray, Tony Deane and most everybody else in the SE folk club scene but I agree that all others you mention were an important factor at the time. The number of clubs we had at our disposal, all within a very easy travelling distance was remarkable: little wonder we got to see so many of the prominent artists performing then.
