December sees the second NU-ROUTES concert tour, set up to produce a series of profile-raising concerts around England to promote the evolution of new-acoustic and traditional music.

Between 10 – 14th December John McCusker, one of Scotland's foremost traditional musicians will be performing with members of his regular band, Ian Carr, Kris Drever and Andy Cutting. In the same concert will be BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award finalist, Jim Moray recently nominated for 4 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, with his ground-breaking approach to English folk music, and Emily Smith - BBC Radio Scotland's Young Scottish Traditional Musician of the Year in 2002.
