Virtually all of Dylan's poetic lyrics make extremely good sense, unless you're a totally literal-minded putz with no imagination.

And Willie Nelson should definitely sing his own songs, plus anything else he can take on.

You might be right about Kristofferson... :-) But his first 2 albums were quite good.
