In any endeavour, there is a craft--the technique of how you do what you're doing--and an art--the emotional content of what you're doing. To be any good, you need a modicum of both. "Art" without the requisite level of craft is mush; 'craft" without the requisite level of art is mere mechanical virtuosity. The trick is to work on making the craft at a level appropriate to the art.
