Aloha nui loa Daylia; my sister.

You do not know what I know about Mr. Nakai.

A gentleman invented a tabulature system for the Native American flute, and he called this system "HawkTab" that made it very easy for people to play prepared sheet music on the Native American flute.

I know this gentleman, and I bought a flute from him. and the paperwork I received with the flute taught the HawkTab system.

Mr. Nakai was one of those traditionalists that did not feel that sheet mucic should be played on the Native American flute, so he ridiculed this gentleman because there was no need for a tabulature system on the Native American flute.

However; a few years later; he wites "The Art Of The Native American Flute, and what does HE teach? A tabulature system!

Mr, Nakai; is a good flautist; but good as a human being; I am not so sure about.

My favorite flautist is Coyote Oldman. I love "Thunder Chord" and "Tear Of The Moon".
