Ballard Bitter.

It vanished from the stores, and even though I looked for it desparately, it appeared that it had been discontinued. Couldn't figure that, because it's great beer. Some folks who are into "lite" beers didn't like it because it socks you in the teeth and puts hair on your chest, so I figured Red Hook had wimped out. Not so! As a result of this thread, I did some heavy googling, and discovered that it's still out there!!! The Powers that Be at Red Hook breweries felt that if they were going to market it nationally, not enough people would know who, what, or where Ballard is. Actually, it's the northeast quadrant of Seattle, where Red Hook got started. So they changed the name to Red Hook IPA. Dunno what "IPA" stands for. But IT STILL EXISTS! I've seen it in the stores but I didn't know that's what it was!
