Sorry to hear about that, Jed. I'm glad you weren't hurt (at least I hope you weren't hurt).

We (JtS, my son, and me) just had a head on collision with a very large buck deer while going about 50 mph about five hours ago. That's my third head-on impact with a deer while driving or riding in a car. Funny how some experiences seem to repeat themselves.

P.S. no one was hurt in our car, just some bits of glass lodged in uncomfortable places, but the deer (and probably our car) was a total loss. A guy with a pickup truck took the deer home with him. So I guess it was a fortunate thing for someone anyway.
