I know other people will disagree, but if you get a cold virus you have no immunity to in your system, you are GONNA get that cold. About all you can do is try to get over it as fast as possible and keep the symptoms as mild as possible by taking care of yourself ALL of the time. I got the flu shot in October and haven't had anything but allergies since last spring. I'd rather have a couple of colds a year than these stupid allergies though. I don't think I've had any sort of flu since I was a kid. Now, lemme go find a big hunk of wood to knock on!
