Thanks Jim, It seems that the recording we have uses the German version sung by Hans Albers as an introduction. I had trouble downloading the whole thing so I'm still a little puzzled by the last line of this German part. It's in English. Just the last line. "....dreaming of countryside where he was born" I'm sure that's what it is. Joy
