Subject: RE: Help: Starting an Internet Radio Station
thanks amoes,i but, i just looked at www.hober.com, they dont seem to offer any advice, is there any website that give adsvice to people wanting tio start there own station?
Also
adveryising1Who would advertise on it?
Advertising:2, how much to charge them? whats the going rate?
Advertising:3=Does incoming revenue make it a business?
ie tax and accounts etc?
IF, the advertising, just paid for the phone line, and buying cd's etc, ie just covered the running costs, could i say it was a hobby?, not get involved with tax etc, or does it have to be a company to start with?

Note, if and when i start this, i would prefer it to be totally lgeal , there is no point starting it, then a couple of weeks later, some oficial body saying " you did this bit wrong, were closing you down!"

i know some of my qeustions might sound ignorant, but i really do, know almost nothing about this at all!
[It would be great if i could buy a computer fot a hundred pounds or so, then play folk cd's, interview artists, run wuizzes, competitions etc, plug festivals/workshpps/clubs/sessions etc, but i'm sure there is a lot more to it than that?
any advice/input is very welcome.thanks.john
