Let's see...
You'd find a lot of rock from Gene Vincent and Buddy Holly to Fountains of Wayne and Jimmy Eat World (but no rap or hip hop;) old rhythm and blues from the Penguins to the Dell Vikings; Jazz from Gene Harris and Stanley Turrentine to Tal Farlow and Kenny Burrell; folk from The Anthology of American Folk Music to The Stanley Brothers; blues from Leadbelly and Mississippi John to Stevie Ray Vaughn; popular music from the twenties to the 60's;) Classical from Bach to Stravinsky; soundtracks from Pete Kelly's Blues to The Big Country; country from Haggard to Jackson; black gospel from The Swan Silvertones to The Harmonizing Four and white gospel from the Phipps and Carter Families to the Southern Journey recordings. Do you see a pattern here? If so, please let me know... :-)
The last four recordings I've bought were by Fountains of Wayne, a mandolin, viola, lute and violin quartet recording of works by F.G. Guiliani, the 75th Anniversary CD by the Dixie Hummingbirds and the soundtrack to Big County..
