Turn off your power, water and electrics don't mix. I once had this happen to me ..water dripping through wiring. The Fire Brigade advised an immediate switch off of all Lights. Perhaps you ought to call your local building inspector asdap and have him/her call the realtor. Hope things improve for you.
   PS my problem was quickly solved btw. It was only one leak but it ran across the ceiling and came in in several different places. Hope yours is a small leak as well.
