Thanks guys and gals, but I guess I wasn't clear [in fact upon re-reading I know I wasn't. There are specialty programs for , amongst others, stamp collectors; what I am looking for is a prefab data base for record collections which I could install and use. I don't want to start one from scratch...at my age I might not last long enough.---John
