Greyfriar's Bobby was a small dog who guarded his Masters grave - for many years - until the dog died. The event occured in Edinburgh - and there is a memorial outside the grave yard to the dog. So I guess you're looking to a Scottish source for the words! I'll have a look through my music collection for you - but it dosen't ring any large bells... Jon
