yup, Doug...I been to Texas. Lived there when I was pretty small. Have been to Dallas, Kerrville and Austin as an adult. And I have talked with several people who used to live there...some had liked it, some didn't...but their explanations of the culture led me to believe it was not the place for 'me' for extended lengths of time. Austin was nice to visit, but Dallas-Ft. Worth felt strange to me....

I am SURE there are quite nice people and great things to see....but they have this HEAVY use of the death penalty and laws against stuff that I consider rights....
