Don't believe that nonsense about adding hot water. I adore them dry - something that a mysterious tall Brazilian man once told me on a stormy night at sea on a Baltic onion-freighter in an old felt hat during the early '70s. I was amazed and never went back to drowning the stuff in boiling water. I have saved to date, about £13.00 in electricity and an unknown smaller amount in wear-and-tear to my kettle. Saves on the washing up too: I reckon I have saved about 50p or more (about a hundred Canadian dollars or so) in water heating in order to unclog a succession of noodle-strewn, and dried-spice-bedecked claggy forks. Dry, Pot Noodles rival any foodstuff for taste and texture and one pot can last for up to 30 minutes. One pot is also as nutritious as a gramme-and-a-half of krill.

So there. That's what I think that is.
