state of consciousness about MOAB! Folks
today are too dadgummed lazy, always wantin’ other
folks to do their work for ‘em. I remember when I was a
mere lad, we had to work for our livin’ thirty-six hours each day
(we got time and a half for overtime) and it was hard work, too, let me
tell you! Haulin’ water three miles each way, uphill both directions, dryin’ out buffalo chips for the fire, why...and school, going to school, we loved school
because we knew that it was the best way to get ahead even though we had to trudge, YES!,
trudge sixteen miles uphill each way in the face of a raging blizzard even in the summer when the sun was sooooooo
hot it melted the very bricks in the streets like they was chocolate bars and the teachers were tough but fair why I remember on time when my very own
bother.....
