I believe my fist introduction to it was
by hearing Roaslie Sorrells singing it.
I remember in Sing Out! magazine there
was mention that Dr. Seuss (Theodore
Geisel) had some sort of law suit
preventing people from recording that
song...that may be why it is difficult
to find. Perahps it was his lawyer, or
"estate" that was limiting this song.
I finally was able to get the
song because a fellow reader offerd
to sing in onto a cassette tape .
this was back before wave files,
e-mail, mp3, mud cat, etc.
