on another level you could say that all life is shite - shite being excreted organisms. aren't we all part of a big cycle of compost? we have organisms all over us & in us, even our body parts are made up of what we intake from digested dead organisms. and somewhere I read (stephen hawking) that our bones are comprised of a lot of different ingredients.. including the ashes of dying stars.
