Hi Anne,
I've been looking too with no success. However, as I was listening to it for the umpteenth time, I felt that the tune was reminiscent of "Sweet Thames Flow Softly" by Ewan MacColl. As I have played a version of this for longer than I care to remember (or admit!), I played around and fitted some chords to "Recruited Collier" as follows:

[C] O what's the matter with [G] you, me lass,
And [F] where's your dashing [C] Jimmy?
[F] The soldier boys have [C] picked him up
[G] And taken him far [C] from me.
[F] Last payday he went [C] into town,
And [F] those red-coated [G] fellows
En[C]ticed him in and [F] made him drunk,
And [G] he's better gone to the [C] gallows.

May not be 100% correct, but it works for me. I did try putting some minor chords in, but it didn't sound right. (Perhaps I tried the wrong ones!)

Anyway, I hope this helps - if not, at least it will give you somewhere to start from.

Good Luck!
