I wonder if a lot of the food allergies that seem so prevalent nowadays are actually reactions to the foods themselves or to trace amounts of pesticides and herbicides that come along with the foods unless they're organically grown. Peanuts and corn grown by "modern" methods are very heavilly sprayed.

I also wonder if our bodies "learn" to be allergic to the food products containing the poisons to the point where even organically grown foods can prompt allergic reactions.
