Thread Name: Lyr Req: Ireland's Thirty-Two / Ireland's 32
Subject: ADD: Ireland's Thirty-Two
Here's another song called "Ireland's 32"

Here's to Donegal, to her brave sons one and all,
Here's to Antrim, to Leitrim and to Derry,
Here's to Cavan and to Louth and to Carlow in the south,
Here's to Longford, to Waterford and Kerry.

Chorus
Then drink your glasses clean,
Here's a toast to all the green,
And let everybody join in the chorus,
For Ireland is our home and no matter where we roam,
We'll be true to the dear land that bore us

Then here's to Tyrone, where O'Neill upheld? his own,
Here's to Monaghan, Fermanagh and Kildare boys,
And here's to those who broke the hateful penal yoke,
And you know it was the brave County Clare boys.

Here's to Sligo and to Down, to Armagh of great renown,
And here's to Kilkenny, famed in story,
Here's to Wexford boys for she, nearly set old Ireland free,
And here's to royal Meath and her glory.

Here's to Galway and Mayo, they never feared the foe,
Here's to Wicklow, its peaks and its passes,
Here's to Limerick fair to all, and her well defended walls,
And still more for the beauty of her glasses?

And here's to rebel Cork, the next County to New York,
And here's to Roscommon, bright and airy,
Here's to Westmeath, where a tyrant n'er did breathe,
Here's to Offaly, to Laois and old Tipperary.

(I rewrote the final line to fit in Offaly and Laois, which as far as I could make out from a poor quality recording hadn't been accounted for. I pronounce Laois as "leesh", maybe someone can refine this).
