Hi, S Rhodes - the songs you refer to were submitted by the late W. Bruce Olson, who had a rather distinctive way of providing background information for songs. It can be a little difficult to translate at times, so it was included in the form Bruce used to submit it. Click here to go to Bruce's Website. You'll find explanations there, but you'll have to look around a bit. Bruce accumulated a wealth of valuable information - but he did it his way.
In most of the Digital Tradition songs, we try not to be quite so obscure, but then those other submissions often lack adequate attribution. There are some initials at the bottom of most songs - that's usually the initials of the person who submitted the song - put there so we can contact that person for additional information. I notice that early submissions from Bruce Olson are marked "WBO," but later ones are "MS." Maybe Susan of DT will come in and explain that one.
