I know you were just teasing. And I was just fondly remembering the first goat I got as a pet, some 30 years ago.

Among people who keep and raise goats, they are notoriously mischievous and clever -- and much more independent in their use of their own grey matter than sheep. Trying to keep a goat in a pen, when the goat does not want to be there is one of the great challenges of human civilization.

Oh, and in many old European traditons, Santa comes riding in on a goat :-)
