I had good fun reciting this poem to my family and my wife's family over Christmas. I wisely refrained from my presentation until folks had finsished with their servings of cranberry sauce and gravy.

Now I think I'll forward the poem to several of the Maine newspapers which covered the story, as a follow-up. Probably, by next summer the lobstermen/losterwomen down in Deer Isle will be incorporating "Barbie Lobster" competitions in their special events.
