Sorry you had to go through this. It's a scary thing!

I was fairly close to the Sylmar quake in L.A. that tore up a few freeways. Scared the hellouta me. I used to live out there and have been through some.

One time I was in Tapia Park in Malibu lying on my back gazing at the clouds and I got quite a back rub.

I fear for those in the heavilly populated San Bernadino area of LA who are inside a dangerous fault line.

Fires, floods, earthquakes....ah the joy of California living.
