Well thought out and well funded experiments can, indeed, reap major benefits and I may end being immensly grateful one day that these tests were carried out.

However, there is still a large amount of unecessary testing and worst of all, testing that renders the experiment void due to the incompetant performance by certain commercial testing labs.

I think the regulations for testing products need to be seriously taken apart and then brought up to date, as the regulations themselves promote unecessary and cruel tests. The uses of certain animals for the testing of chemical products to be later used in human consumption also need to be revised.

Other than that.....step forward human volunteers........................
