The CROC CAME BACK

Steve Irwin had a crocodile he didn't want to keep,
He offered it for sale, but no-one would buy it cheap.
He called upon the media to ask for their advice,
he dangled his tiny baby saying, this will taste
so nice --

And the croc came back, he wouldn't stay away,
He was sharpening his toothy pegs the very next day;
The croc came back, he didn't want to roam,
checking out the tender flesh and crunchy baby bone.

Stevie Irwin took his camera and he hid behind a bush,
In the bassinet his baby lay the camera did flash.
He aimed it at the spot where the croc would appear;
The next day all they found was Stevie Irwin's rear --

And the croc came back, he wouldn't stay away,
He was sharpening his toothy pegs the very next day;
The croc came back, he didn't want to roam,
checking out the tender flesh and crunchy baby bone.

Now the croc sat on the porch and he ate a piece of
Steve,
An newsman came right by, he was feeling pretty pleased.
The croc he was a-smiling, for he was fully fed;
The newsman sang "Front Page!" and the crocodile said

I wanna come back, I won't stay away,
He was sharpening his toothy pegs the very next day;
The croc came back, he didn't want to roam,
checking out the tender flesh and crunchy newsman's bone…
