The last turkey has left the building. All the mince pies have been smoked. The cracker jokes all forgotten...
At the end of the season what do YOU do? Yes, yes, I know orthodoxy has not celebrated it yet but even that will be over in a few days.
A couple of Gnomish traditions.
Carefully take down the tree lights and wrap them all up so they will be easy to get out next Christmas. Why the hell do they always come out as a mass of spagetti and have to be thrown away?
Give up drinking for at least a month to purge the body in anticipation of the Swinton Hardy Intrepid Trecking Society (SHITS for short) annual pilgramage to Yorkshire in February.
Anyone else? Any true humorous or serious traditions that go with the end of the festivities?
