Anyone going to Towersey? Its a sister festival to Sidmouth, but contained on a single large site. We shall be there. Its a dog-friendly one, so we'll be taking deaf-bitch again (not that she'll appreciate the music....she slept through most of Sidmouth). To sidetrack slightly,, we took her away for two weeks camping at Sidmouth and then at the Malborough festival. For two weeks we diligently cleared up behind her (as is right and proper). Then .... just as we were packing the car for the five-hour journey home ..... we thought 'what's that horrible smell?' .... Noni had managed to find the smelliest, sloppiest, most gross-est dog turd in the whole wide world, and had rolled into it neck-first as is a dog's delight. We only had 2 litres of water left, and I deserve a medal for cleaning her up using only a magazine, some anti-dandruff shampoo and 2 litres of cold water!!! All I can say is that, judging by the turd, she wasn't the only BIG dog on site. The injustice of the whole thing still rankles - did the owners have no carrier bags???? Hmph.Kris (I really needed to get that off my chest).
