The Victoria Day long weekend would be excellent for us, assuming Nothing Bad Happens. (Edmund's in the army and I have a gummint job, and you know what that can mean.) Ottawa is about six to seven hours from Barrie if you obey the law and the conditions are good, so it's manageable on a Friday after work, if one makes only a token appearance at the office after lunch.
