What ever they are they are a strange and varied beast. Many of Humphrey Littletons have a common structure. I can't really understand or describe it but I am sure it's possible.

Perhaps it goes a bit like this:

2 abstract or at least sophisticated concepts are needed - destiny and time are good examples. Each then needs to be illustrated by some sureal but concrete er things (the hamster etc) The 2 concepts need to be related in some strange event???????

Ok this probably doesn't explain anything.
