Once you have a good idea what it is, finding a copy to compare it to shouldn't be a problem. You could even do something so simple as to make contact with a librarian at a library with the book in the collection, and fax a couple of pages back and forth to see if they compare. You'll find they generally enjoy this kind of mystery!
