Did anyone else catch the "deer in the headlights" look on Bush's face when he stated "The Patriot Act will expire in (whatever time period)" and the Democrats applauded? hee hee

I watched the entire speech and consumed a whole bag of chips to settle my nerves. Set my diet back two weeks.

I am looking to retire in a few years. $35/month for a 10% discount on drugs (but isn't that up to a set amount and then I pay the next $1500-$2000 before it kicks in again?) Social Security will be at least partially privatized - so where is my payment coming from? I have been contributing for over 40 years.

A few billion to help ex cons get jobs. Wouldn't that be better spent while they are in jail so that they are ready to function when they become ex-cons?

Bush's high moral tone when discussing drugs and children is laughable. His own children, following his example, have demonstrated serious drug related problems. Do as I say not as I do?

And of course, there were weapons of mass destruction. Say it often enough and it becomes common knowledge.
