Dunno if this is what Bobert is referring to or not, but a week or so ago Bush came off with the contention that the war his daddy officiated over in Iraq never actually ended. And Clinton continuted the war, with bombings, enforcing no-fly zones, etcetera. Bush said, with his bare face hanging out and his smarmy smirk, "I was continuing Clinton's policy on Iraq."

Why didn't Bush take it back a little further and blame the whole thing on T. E. Lawrence?
