Newgrange is a fair few hours drive from Kerry (but well worth visiting - and from what I've heard Knowth is great too ... you can book a tour of both)... the last time I was back the only way to get into the monuments was by going on an organised tour from the visitors centre.... Newgrange is NWest of Dublin, Kerry is towards the bottom left hand corner of Ireland.

I think you're thinking of Death by Whiskey... he lives in Kerry and is involved in a lot of sessions down there... not sure if he does buses though!!
