Thread Name: Tech: Netscape 7.1: where's the Trash?
Subject: Tech: Netscape 7.1: where's the Trash?
There's probably a simple answer to this question, but I haven't found it. I have a new Dell notebook running Windows XP. I use Netscape 7.1 for my primary browser and my primary email, which is through RoadRunner. (Don't ask me about clients and hosts and all that...I still haven't figured out which is what.) In my old faithful Netscape 4.79, the email screen had a pulldown menu that included two very useful folders: "Sent Mail" and "Trash". Where did they go? I just accidentally deleted an email and now I can't find it. It's not in the recycle bin, of course, and when I did a search for a file/folder called "Trash", I found nada.

So what am I missing here? How do I find the emails I've sent and the ones I've deleted? Or has Netscape and/or Microsoft "improved" those folders out of existence? (Like the browser cache file, which in Win98/NS 4.7x used to sit happily in the Netscape user folder, and now seems to be scattered among several folders in a path that doesn't even show up on Windows Explorer...)

Aloha,
Mark
