Good luck! Good idea about "negotiating" for vacation upfront. I did that quite unknowingly at one new job. I sure was glad later that I thought of it. It was no big deal to them, but very important to me. When I saw how easy it was to get that (because they wanted me) I wondered if I should have asked for more!
