In today's paper, an announcement of Anne's death on Jan. 14, in Oberlin, Ohio where she had been living in retirement. Her 1957 recording 'Ohio State Ballads: History Through Folk Songs', is available now through Smithsonian. A dulcimer player and collector, she was largely responsible for documenting the history of dulcimer making and playing in Southern Ohio.
